Last job today was to take off the coolant sender location head -the sender had jammed and on removal and snapped etc so took off the head to fully remove and replace (warning -dont overtighten the sender units they are taper fit) -im hoping this was the reason fo varible temprature reads - im sure its not the volt stoabilizer but that may be next to check - new white top temperature sender coming from Burton.

Not sure if it runs any better than when I adjusted it by ear, but when adjusting it by ear I had it set with an LTFT of 2.9 and IFT of 30. I took a quick spin on the bike and it ran fine. I put it away and will try again over the weekend. But today the thing is giving all kinds of weird low inconsistent readings. It seemed last night that I got my CO to 2.9% by setting the LTFT to 4.2 and the IFT up to 30. I strapped it to a chair to keep it stationary. Today the "diaphragm" thing is not making the same rattling noise that it was yesterday. Last night I used it and it seemed to be working fine if I took my time between uses.
